Mike and I worked together at Progress Rail and I had the pleasure of working with on a few key projects. One of the most challenging projects was one in which we constructed and launched a new facility. As can be imagined there are many hurdles associated with a project of this scope from government relations, employee recruitment and retention to communication timing and alignment with the overarching business strategy. Mike led the project areas related to HR and served as a tremendous resource in guiding our team in other areas. He recruited a high level of talent to launch the facility and worked with local staffing agencies and government organizations to allow our team to meet objectives.
